Getting Involved

Thing that you can do to help UCA inc. in its mission include the following:

  1. Become a virtual witness.  Your public statement will give strength and encouragement to others.  It helps to know you are not alone.
  2. Tell others about our site - Word of mouth is still the best advertising, even on the internet. Let others who are sympathetic, or even just interested about this site.
  3. Include us in your email signature.  An example would be "God is not a Sadist.  To learn more visit www.universalistchristians.org" or "God is not a dysfunctional father.  To learn more visit www.universalistchristians.org"
  4. Support universalist authors - visit our Amazon bookstore.  Universalist books include: The Inescapable Love of God by Professor Thomas Talbot, Good Goats: Healing Our Image of God by Dennis Linn and If Grace is True: Why God will Save Every Person by Philip Gulley and Rev. James R. Mulholland.
  5. Leave a book.  The message by universalist authors deserves more than to just sit on our bookshelves.  If you do not know anyone you are comfortable about giving a book to, consider joining bookcrossings. WWW. Bookcrossing.com is the site of over 100,000 people spreading the joy of reading.  They do this by leaving books at public locations for anyone to pick up.  The books have an identification number that allows you to follow the books travels and future readers to publish reviews on the net.  Also a great way to deal with books that the bookstores will not take, but you cannot bring yourself to throw away.
  6. Start having local meetings by joining meetup.com - Meetup.com does not currently have a Universalist classification.  Please visit their site and request such a group.  Until it is created you might want to sign up for Indie Allies.  A group for Independent Christian Thinkers.
  7. Join our Yahoo group - UniversalistChristians  A way for us all to discuss the message of universal reconciliation.
